Peter Moody's Group One haul continued at Morphettville on Saturday when Lights Of Heaven took out the Australasian Oaks.

The filly's success in the 2008m race came less than 24 hours after champion mare Black Caviar stretched her winning record to 11 in the William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley.

Starting the $2.50 favourite Lights Of Heaven beat Absolutely ($8) by 2-3/4 lengths with Southern Speed (3.70) a neck away third.

Fellow Melbourne trainers Mathew Ellerton and Simon Zahra had a big day out claiming the other Group One on the program, the Sportingbet Classic (1200m), with Response and the Listed Adelaide Guineas (1600m) with Booklet.

Response's win was some compensation for Crystal Lily's second placings to Black Caviar at her past two starts.

Response ($8) beat gallant Sydney mare Beaded ($2.50 fav) by a long neck with Miss Octopussy ($17) a neck away third.

The all-conquering Moody missed out on a Sydney Group One victory with Anacheeva when Jimmy Choux upstaged his Australian rivals in the Rosehill Guineas.

Anacheeva, winner of the Caulfield Guineas in the spring, finished seventh.
