Promising Victorian stayer Kincaple has been paid up as a late entry for Saturday's Listed Christmas Cup at Rosehill.

The Jim Conlan-trained four-year-old is one of 11 nominations for the $100,000 2400-metre feature.

Kincaple, who has won three of his nine starts, is also nominated for a 2444-metre race at Mornington on Friday, a 2500-metre race at Morphettville on Saturday and for Moonee Valley on Sunday.

Fellow Victorian De Fine Lago, from the Tony Vasil yard, is also among the nominations.

De Fine Lago has won his last two starts at Ballarat, the latest when scoring by a length over 2200 metres on November 18.

The four-year-old is also nominated for a 2500-metre race at Moonee Valley on Sunday.

The John O'Shea-trained stakes-placed Music Review is the topweight for the Christmas Cup with 58kg, five kilograms more than the rest of the field.

Music Review, who formerly raced in the United Kingdom, comes into the race after a fourth to Aristocratico over 1800 metres at Rosehill on November 21.

Two starts back Music Review finished strongly to be a half-length second to Bid Spotter in the Listed City Tattersall's Cup (2400m) at Randwick on October 17.

The Christmas Cup also includes the Gai Waterhouse-trained Merensky Reef who is backing-up after a close third to Zazabeau over 2000 metres at Rosehill last Saturday.

Bart Cummings has the in-form gelding Star Ripper, a son of his 1997 Cox Plate winner Dane Ripper, in the Cup.

Star Ripper is chasing four straight wins and is coming off a slashing victory over Saturday's distance at Randwick on November 28.

Trainer Paul Cave is after his sixth win in the race with Dothisdothat.

Cave has previously won the race with Prince Weyand (1981), Pasta Express (1999), Airlie Bird (2002), Sadarar (2003) and Taken At The Flood three years ago.
