Wednesday morning trackwork at Werribee generally took on a more sedate nature today compared to yesterday morning. Although the wind still made the conditions a little chilly, it wasn’t as much of a factor as it was 24-hours earlier, says Racing Victoria.

LUCKY NINE: An easy morning for the sprinter. After completing more strident work on Monday morning and to a lesser extent yesterday, the gelding isn’t expected to be pushed too much further until early next week. (First run: Sportingbet Manikato Stakes, 1200m, 25 October)

DANDINO: Cantered from the 800-metres quickening to about three-quarter pace easing down to the line. (First run: BMW Caulfield Cup, 2400m, 19 October)

SIMENON: An easy morning for the G1 Ascot Gold Cup (4000m) second placegetter with light work over 600-metres. (First run: BMW Caulfield Cup, 2400m, 19 October)

SIDE GLANCE: Track rider Leanne Masterton reports that she was very pleased with the way this seasoned traveller has settled in, assisted by having a box to himself on the flight, and will ease him into his work with more than three weeks until the Moonee Valley target. He walked a couple of laps this morning with a very light canter over 400-metres. (First run: Sportingbet Cox Plate, 2040m, 26 October)

MULL OF KILLOUGH: Quicker work this morning than yesterday. Cantered from the 800-metre mark, quickened from the 400 and eased to the line. (First run: Sportingbet Cox Plate, 2040m, 26 October)

RUSCELLO: Just a light canter this morning over a short distance. (First run: Emirates Melbourne Cup, 3200m, 5 November)

TREVIERES: A moderate canter over 800-metres stepped up a touch from the 400 to the 200 striding out the line. (First run: Toorak Handicap, 1600m, 12 October)

FORGOTTEN VOICE: Seemingly mostly over the bout of travel sickness, Forgotten Voice made a first appearance on the training track walking a couple of laps and trotting.  (First run: BMW Caulfield Cup, 2400m, 19 October)

OPINION: Cantered over 600-metres and eased to the line.
