It is amazing how a continual barrage of other "things" blocks access to horseracing matters which is where I have found myself this weekend. After a last minute rush to Bendigo Saturday night, an overnight stay , a dawdle back just in time to view the clash of the year between Geelong and St Kilda and my usual Sunday night hosting of a trivia night and all of a sudden where did my day go.

A quick dash to Melbourne to help one of my daughters with a lift to a medical appointment yesterday morning and whoosh half a day rockets by without my knowledge. After some lunch I decided to update the Plan A Pensioner Plan selections by adding columns for Best Fluctuations and the win and place dividends from the three TAB. After several interruptions beyond my control here I was still tapping away at 7 p.m. An appointment to meet up with a couple of mates at 8pm meant I had better get ready but a phone call from another daughter currently in Darwin at 9pm meant I had to rush back home. During the phone call she who must be obeyed arrived home and being the sensitive new age guy I am I sat down and had a chat about her day.

This morning I chauffered her to the station, picked up my copy of "The Sportsman" and am about to make a coffee before I tell you about the Pensioner Plan results from this weekend.

That's better! A steaming cup of the drug coffee and I am ready.

This weekend the Revised Pensioner Plan had a massive 13 selections for another cracker of a day with 4 winners and 2 placings for returns of 16.7 units. Since the Revised plan started two weeks ago there have been 20 selections for 6 wins and 4 placings returning 26.50 units which is a damn sight better than all the selections for Plan A.

Now, again, I am not recommending backing the Revised plan selections as I still want to show you how a sensible staking plan can be used plus we are only into a set of 20 selections. Just watch for the time being.

I will log another blog tomorrow with some figures re all the Plan A "wildcat" selections via Best Fluctuations, SP and the three different TAB's after I log the updated figures this evening. This morning I have to keep working on a major project I am working on for the Practical Punting website which I am hoping to finish by this weekend and after lunch I am off to Melbourne for some personal business and at 6.30 pm I will be involved in a discussion group until 8pm. I will have had enough for the day by then and will sit back and watch a copy of last nights episode of "Desperate Housewives"!!! Yes, I publicly admit I watch this show. Why, you might ask? Simply, it is that silly at times I just have to watch to find out what nonsense is about to occur plus along the way it relaxes me.
Yep, I am a sad case.
