The son of Le Bec Fin made his debut on his home track on July 3 where he put up a respectable gallop to finish fourth. He took enormous benefit from that initial race as he went on to easily clear the dunce grade at his subsequent outing. Regular pilot Darryl Bradley teamed up with him again at Otaki in mid-August and the combination did well to snatch third prize versus R70 grade rivals.
