Black Minnaloushe mare who caught my attention immediately this preparation which has rarely been the case with what I'd seen of her previously. Don't get me wrong she had looked useful enough and in fact greeted the judge on two previous occasions, but didn't really engage me at all. However, she looked real good when disposing of R80 grade rivals at Tauranga in mid-November. She travelled midfield on the outer until the 300m point where her rider hooked her out and the combo flew down the outer to grab victory in the shadows of the post.
