Some said they obtained much bigger prices than Klatch's final $10.00 mark. Officially, Klatch opened at $21.00 and firmed to start at $10.00 but bigger odds were available early on. Bookie Robbie Waterhouse says the Martin double ripped plenty out of the ring. And the plunge on Klatch, he said, was 'as good a go as we've seen for a long time.'

Singapore's off the radar for Road To Rock. It's Queensland instead. He'll run in the Grp 2 Hollindale Stakes (1800m) at the Gold Coast on May 8 before a crack at the Grp 1 Doomben Cup (2020m) a fortnight later. Stathi Katsidis is booked for the Hollindale Stakes ride, replacing the suspended Damien Oliver.
