Scenic Blast shoots to top of world sprinting ranks

Blast off! King's Stand Stakes winner Scenic Blast has joined Hong Kong star Sacred Kingdom at the top of the world turf sprinting ranks. The latest world thoroughbred rankings have the Perth superstar rated at 122 for his Royal Ascot victory. Sacred Kingdom achieved the same rating winning the KrisFlyer International Sprint in May. Australian-bred horses dominate the first four positions in the sprint rankings with Singapore's high-class sprinter Rocket Man next on the list at 121 ahead of Apa

The latest world thoroughbred rankings have the Perth superstar rated at 122 for his Royal Ascot victory. Sacred Kingdom achieved the same rating winning the KrisFlyer International Sprint in May. Australian-bred horses dominate the first four positions in the sprint rankings with Singapore's high-class sprinter Rocket Man next on the list at 121 ahead of Apache Cat at 119. Despite his defeat in Singapore, veteran Takeover Target is rated at 119 for his wins in the T J Smith Stakes and The Goodwood in the autumn.
