SA trainer Daniel Clarken is delighted with the progress of his Blue Diamond Stakes winner, Miracles Of Life.  On Friday night at Moonee Valley the flying filly will tackle the Group 3 $150,000 Champagne Stakes (1200m) following a month away from the racetrack.

"She has come through the first-up run (when fourth of seven to Fast ‘N’ Rocking in the McNeil Stakes) really well,” he told Racing Network.

“In fact, she’s sensational, absolutely sensational,” he enthused.

“The month between the runs has been ideal and I can tell you she will acquit herself very, very well on Friday night,” he added.

Clarken said Miracles Of Life would be floated to Melbourne overnight tomorrow night, and would then stay in Melbourne until the $250,000 Blue Sapphire (1200m) at Caulfield on October 12 (Caulfield Guineas day).

"There's just two weeks before the Blue Sapphire so we'll stay in Melbourne this time for that," he said.

“Her aim after that will be the Coolmore (Stud Stakes) down the straight on Derby Day – that’s three weeks later, so that’s the plan at this stage,” Clarken said.
