RACING Victoria stewards have opened an investigation into the alleged betting activities of a jockey, reports Racing Network. It says: RV deputy chairman of stewards Rob Montgomery confirmed that a probe was underway. Montgomery declined to identify the jockey involved, but it is believed he may have a history relating to betting offences. He said the investigation would continue in the coming days. It is understood that RV stewards received information that led them to opening the investigation.
