Racing Victoria has announced transfer venues for four Victorian tracks that are unable to host programmed meetings in the short to medium term future. The affected venues are Moe, Sale, Yarra Valley and Ballarat with the transfers required due to major renovations, infrastructure maintenance and the impacts of weather and winter racing. The bulk of the 22 meetings impacted are at Moe where a major track renovation, which is planned to commence in spring, will see it unable to host meetings throughout the 2012-13 racing season. A total of 12 meetings have been moved from Moe to venues including Traralgon, Bairnsdale, Pakenham and Stony Creek.
