Clinton McDonald’s 6YO relishes wet ground. He’s won 5 from 6 on slow and 3 from 4 on heavy. Admittedly, his latest two runs do not look the best but both were on Sydney tracks in very good quality company. He was 14th/15 in the Grp 3 Star Kingdom Quality at Rosehill 1200m on Apr 6, weakening out after racing 10 wide to the turn and into the straight. Today, he’s back at his pet track (3 starts, 3 wins) and over his favorite trip (13 starts, 6 wins, one 2nd). He’s drawn OK and he has Brad Rawiller aboard.
