Monton gets ready for Railway Stakes bid in NZ

Ready for the Kiwi attack...The Tim Martin-trained Monton is in NZ being readied for his Grp 1 assignment in the prestigious Railway Stakes (1200m) at Ellerslie on New Year's Day. The 4YO gelding won the Grp 3 Hobartville Stakes, downing Shoot Out, in the autumn and returned with a slick last-to-first victory over 1100m at Rosehill on Dec 4.

Ready for the Kiwi attack...The Tim Martin-trained Monton is in NZ being readied for his Grp 1 assignment in the prestigious Railway Stakes (1200m) at Ellerslie on New Year's Day.
