Racing Victoria stewards have suspended apprentice Jack Hill for 20 meetings for careless riding in a race at Flemington on May 7 which saw fellow apprentice Jake Noonan dislodged in a fall, sustaining serious head injury. Hill was found guilty of careless riding in failing to straighten his mount Royal Bender while shifting in, causing Safe to be taken in before she clipped Royal Bender's heels and fell.
