David Hayes cannot speak highly enough of young Chad Schofield. In fact, he reckons he's a champion in the making, a young Brent Thomson or John Stocker. People are just starting to realise the talent he is now that the carnival is over and gaining outside rides." Such is his faith in Schofield that he is giving him plum rides whenever he can - and he says he won't restrict Chad from riding for other stables.
