In other Cup news: The engagement of Damien Oliver as a replacement jockey for Gerald Mosse has seen French stayer Americain replace Dunaden as Cup favorite at $6 with Betstar. Eskander says: 'It's a very significant engagement...A 2-time Melbourne Cup winning jockey isn't usually available this close to the cup, and in this game experience plays a massive part, so we've moved Americain in a couple of dollars.' Dunaden is now second favourite at $7.

Latest news: It's A Dundeel was beaten into 2nd place in the Vase but retains Derby favouritism ($2.00 to $2.80) with Eskander's Betstar. Super Cool has obviously come right into Derby contention and Betstar now have him at $5.50, from $34, and 2nd pick behind the star NZ colt.
