Mic Mac opens favorite for Hawkesbury Gold Cup

Consistent galloper Mic Mac ($4) has opened favurite for the Hawkesbury Gold Cup (1600m) on Thursday, in a wide open betting race. The 8-year-old has produced two recent seconds in good company. Gai Waterhouse has two runners, Kinnersley ($4.60) and Julienas ($6), both in the market. Julienas is first-up since finishing last in the Sydney Cup earlier this year.
