Chris Waller is aiming Junoob and Moriarty towards the Grp 1 Doomben Cup via the Hollindale Stakes at the Gold Coast. The imported pair both had easy trials at Randwick on Tuesday morning, keeping them ticking over for the Hollindale Stakes on Saturday week. Junoob has been a revelation during the autumn carnival, winning four of his seven starts including the Group 3 Neville Sellwood at Rosehill last start. He was initially being considered for a start in the $4 million Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes but has been saved for a shot at the Queensland winter carnival. Waller won the Doomben Cup last year with Beaten Up and Metal Bender in 2010. Sydney's leading trainer has also enjoyed recent success in the Group 2 Hollindale Stakes with My Kingdom Of Fife in 2011 and Metal Bender in 2010. (racing network)
