APPRENTICE Jackie Beriman is considerring an appeal against a 10-meeting careless riding charge.  Racing Victoria stewards suspended Beriman following her ride on Emmoki's Star in the Tile Importer Handicap at Caulfield for allegedly causing interference to Glen Boss' mount Miz Sinatra at the 1100 metres. Beriman pleaded not guilty, but RV chairman of stewards Terry Bailey said Beriman did not give Boss the mandatory two lengths when she crossed him. "You were never two lengths clear, maybe one and a quarter (lengths). You didn't give him enough room," Bailey said. Beriman's suspension starts after she finishes her committments on Saturday. She can resume riding on February 18.
