Manfred Man Ka-leung-trained Pleasure Gains can win the Achievement Handicap (1,650m) at Happy Valley but even that might now allow him to steal the 1010 Million Challenge from Bullish Boy, reports the Racing Post in HK.

Only 4 horses have any chance to win the annual Happy Valley contest for Class Three gallopers and up - competition leader Bullish Boy, Rainbow Fighter, Pleasure Gains and Golden Harvest.

All are engaged at Wednesday night's finale and, while Bullish Boy needs only a second to secure the $650,000 prize, there is a mathematical possibility for the others.

Connections of Rainbow Fighter and Golden Harvest will likely know their fate before their horses run, as the Class One fourth contest holds the key.

If Bullish Boy (Keith Yeung Ming-lun) wins, he wins the lot no matter what else happens, but a Pleasure Gains win can steal it if Bullish Boy only runs third.

And a win by Pleasure Gains (Karis Teetan) is a real possibility, even if Bullish Boy gets the solo lead he relishes. In fact, it would surprise if Bullish Boy doesn't get the front alone and control the pace, so the key is how dashing the in-form Teetan is prepared to be.

Pleasure Gains raced on-speed to win twice at Sha Tin late last season but, from a series of difficult draws this season, he has been ridden more quietly.
