The $150,000 Listed TROA/Luxbet Winter Championship Final headlines an outstanding eight-race Flemington program on Saturday that will also see the culmination of five other series run in Victoria over recent months.

The Banjo Paterson Series Final, the Listed All Victorian Sprint Series Final, the Slickpix Silver Bowl Series Final and the Rivette Series Final all carry $100,000 in prizemoney and have attracted quality nominations.

Peter Moody's hopes of claiming his second Winter Championship in three years will be rest with four-year-old There's Only One, who is set to carry the 58.5kg topweight in the 1600m race should she accept

Moody won the 2010 Winter Championship with Doubful Jack and was runner-up in last year's final with then-handy mare Mid Summer Music who improved markedly over the next 12 months to claim the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap (1400m) at Eagle Farm last month.

There's Only One is set to carry the 58.5kg and boasts a similar profile to 2010 winner Doubtful Jack, having won his past two starts in comfortable fashion, series heats at Sale and Flemington.

Fellow heat winners Chosen To Fly (60kg) and Galileo Gold (55kg) also look to have claims in the Listed final, while defending champion Glanuese (59kg), last-start Provincial Plate winner Menados (55kg) and former Queenslander Forty Thirty (55kg) are among the others engaged.

The day's other Listed event, the $100,000 All Victorian Sprint Series Final, could also go the way of a defending champion with last year's winner Perturbo among the leading chances after today's nominations.

The Colin and Cindy Alderson-trained gelding will be looking for his first win in five subsequent starts since that 2011 triumph after racing almost exclusively in black-type company over the past 12 months.

Perturbo will carry the 60kg topweight in the 1200m event, which also contains last start heat winners Verdasco and Broken, Swan Hill's Golden Topaz winner Alpha Proxima and the Robert Smerdon-trained Beyond Pardon, who was runner-up in the Listed Takeover Target Stakes (1200m) at Gosford last start.

The Aldersons also have a leading fancy in the 2600m Banjo Paterson Series Final, with Mongomery to take on the likes of versatile jumper/stayer Gotta Take Care and veteran mare Swooper.

Peter Moody's Club Command, who is shooting for three wins in succession, headlines the field for the 1600m Slickpix Silver Bowl Series Final while stablemate Dayita shares topweight with the Julie Scott-trained Pass The Post in the Rivette Series Final (1600m) for the fillies.

The apprentice riders will battle it out in the $75,000 National Patient Transport Rising Stars Final.

The 1800m event brings down the curtain on the sought-after series for apprentice riders, in which Ben Knobel will be crowned the winner no matter where he finishes.

And while it does not carry final status, the $70,000 Victorian Carbine Club Plate (1000m) has attracted a host of quality nominations and looks set to feature as one of the day's highlights.

The Anthony Cummings-trained Diamond Earth heads the weights with 57kg after accumulating nearly $500,000 prizemoney in lucrative restricted races, including a win in the Inglis Banner (1000m) at Moonee Valley on Cox Plate Day last year.

Last start debutant winners Isabella Snowflake, trained by Mick Price, Peter Moody's Zounite and Team Hawkes colt Happy Galaxy are also down to continue their two-year-old careers.

Trainer Robert Hickmott has entered debutants Barlow and Tabloid for the juvenile sprint, the latter a $375,000 purchase at last year's New Zealand Bloodstock Premier Yearling Sale.
