Steven Arnold booked for UK star in Cox Plate

Steven Arnold has been booked to ride UK star Mull of Killough in the Cox Plate at Moonee Valley. Trainer Jane Chapple-Hyam says it's fantastic to have secured the services of such an experienced jockey.

She says: 'Mulla is in quanratine at Newmarket UK and will be flying to Australia on Thursday. He galloped on the Polytrack last Saturday afternoon and I was very happy with the way he went.

'It's a 32 hour flight to Melbourne though Mulla's becoming a seasoned traveller and will have no problems eating and drinking while onboard. I've left him 9kgs above his race weight as he will lose that in transit.'
