PUNTERS are happy to forget the burden of New Zealand form and are expected to make Jimmy Choux a dominant favourite for Saturday's Group 1 Flinders Lane Rosehill Guineas (2000m), reports the Sydney Daily Telegraph.

It says: Question marks over the strength of competition across the Tasman led to TAB Sportsbet Fixed Odds opening the dual Group 1 winner and earner of $1.7 million at the juicy odds of $4.60 - the same price as Kilmore maiden winner Absolutelyawesome.

Adding weight to the argument against Jimmy Choux is the fact no Kiwi horse has won the Rosehill Guineas since Surfers Paradise in 1991, and that recent form hasn't stood up with Keep The Peace failing in the Ranvet Stakes and top filly We Can Say It Now finishing down the track in the Australian Guineas.

But that didn't stop solid money forcing his price from $4.60 to $4 late yesterday, and TAB Sportsbet's Matt Jenkins is expecting more.
