One TAB customer stands to win $136,800 if the $1.65 favourite Yankee Rose wins the Crown Oaks tomorrow.
The punter placed a $2,000 treble on October 22, five hours prior to the Cox Plate, on Winx to win the weight for age classic, Almandin to win the Melbourne Cup and Yankee Rose to win tomorrow.
Yankee Rose appears a safe bet to claim the group one feature tomorrow, with 61% of the money for her, but if the TAB customer is nervous, they could cash out early and still walk away with $75,164.
“Five of the last six favourites in the Crown Oaks to start $2 or shorter have saluted and punters are confident that run will continue this year with Yankee Rose,” TAB’s Nick Quinn said.
“In recent times Samantha Miss in 2008 and and Faint Perfume in 2009 have started odd-on and won.
“Yankee Rose was outstanding in the Cox Plate finishing third behind Winx and Hartnell and looks to have a class edge over her rivals.”
