More Radiant burned up the trial track at Randwick on Monday. Trainer Mick Price has been talking-up the daughter of More Than Ready since she beat Earthquake in a trial at Cranbourne on January 30, reports Racing Network.

Earthquake then went on to brilliantly win the $1 million Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield and is now a firm favourite to win the Golden Slipper Stakes as well.

More Radiant arrived in Sydney as part of Price’s four-member Golden Slipper team last Friday, and this morning’s trial was her first look at a right-handed track.

She drew the inside gate, led and railed like she had been racing right-handed all her life.

Glen Boss rode her this morning and he eased up on the filly nearing the line, after being as far as six lengths in front half way up the straight.

Her official winning margin was three lengths from an unraced Peter Moody-trained filly called Thinking Of You, by Thorn Park.

The winner’s time was 43.8 seconds, half a second slower than her stable-mate Jabali recorded when winning his trial earlier in the morning.
