Afsare - Trainer: Luca Cumani
Trackwork: Walked and trotted a lap then worked solidly from the 1200 metres before easing up at the home turn.
Assessment: Seems to be over his minor leg swelling which stable described in terms of a 'twisted ankle'. Back working and still on target for the Cox Plate.
Americain - Trainer Alain de Royer Dupre
Trackwork: Walked and then cantered a lap before doing his normal 2000 metres at three quarter pace.
Assessment: Doing everything right heading towards the Caulfield Cup this Saturday.
Brigantin - Trainer Andre Fabre
Trackwork: Cantered for two laps and worked home the last 800 metres.
Assessment: Continues to improve and will have a faster gallop later this week heading towards the Geelong Cup.
Dunaden - Trainer Mike Delzangles
Trackwork: Cantered a lap and then worked strongly from the 1600m, coming home the last 600m in 35.8 seconds, 400m in 23.9 seconds.
Assessment: Today's gallop was the best of the morning and the horse looked sharp. Connections say more improvement to come still.
Galileo's Choice - Trainer Dermot Weld
Trackwork: Cantered from the 1200 metres and then picked up pace from the 1400 metres on a second circuit.
Assessment: Is making steady progress and remains on target for the Melbourne Cup.
Gatewood - John Gosden
Trackwork: Had an easy canter and has taken no harm from his luckless run last Saturday.
Assessment: Connections are treating his run in the Herbert Power as a track gallop. Will contest Geelong Cup if doesn't make Caulfield Cup field.
Ibicenco - Trainer Luca Cumanii
Trackwork: Pace work over about 2000 metres.
Assessment: Working well enough. Probably have to wait for Moonee Valley Cup.
Jakkalberry - Trainer Marco Botti
Trackwork: Normal canter and will gallop tomorrow or Wedneday.
Assessment: Stable is very happy with his condition and growing in confidence about Caulfield Cup.
Mount Athos - Trainer Luca Cumani
Trackwork: Did pace work with My Quest For Peace.
Assessment: Ticking over nicely without being asked to over extend at this stage.
Prairie Star - Trainer Danny O'Brien
Trackwork: Slow work with Tac de Boistron.
Assessment: Has made vast improvement since his arrival. Likely starter in the David Jones Cup on Saturday.
My Quest For Peace - Trainer Luca Cumani
Trackwork: Did pacework with Mount Athos after their good gallop last Saturday.
Assessment: On target for the Caulfield Cup.
Shahwardi - Trainer Alain de Royer Dupre
Trackwork: Out for an easy canter this morning.
Assessment: Has taken no harm from his strong win last Saturday and is in good shape.
Tac De Boistron - Trainer Mick Kent
Trackwork: Easy work over about 1600 metres with Prairie Star.
Assessment: Making steady progress towards the Geelong Cup after gallop there on Saturday.
