Hong Kong-based Australian jockeys Nash Rawiller and Zac Purton are about to rack-up some frequent-flyer points.
Rawiller has accepted an invitation from Chris Waller to ride Carbine Club Stakes winner Kermadec in the Group 1 $500,000 Australian Guineas (1600m) at Flemington on March 7.
Kermadec resumed with a slashing third in the Hobartville Stakes last Saturday and the stable has indicated his next run will be in Melbourne at Flemington in the Guineas.
"We have been able to confirm Nash will ride Kermadec in the Australian Guineas," Waller's Racing Manager Liam Prior told Racing Network on Thursday morning.
Purton will honour his commitment to dual Doncaster Mile winner Sacred Falls and will return from Hong Kong to ride that horse first-up in the Group 1 $500,000 Canterbury Stakes (1300m) at Royal Randwick on the same date.
Purton is enjoying another great season in Hong Kong with 49 winners and finds himself in second place on the Jockeys Table behind Joao Moreira, while Rawiller is well down the table in 13th position on 12 wins for the season.
