Jockey Michael Dee rode the final winner at the Sandown midweek card before stewards suspended him for 10 meetings on a careless riding charge.

Michael Dee will start a 10-meeting suspension after he rides Holy Snow in the Group Two PB Lawrence Stakes at Caulfield.

Dee incurred a careless riding ban after guiding Lady Of Flanders to victory in the Ladbrokes Odds Boost Handicap at Sandown on Wednesday.

Racing Victoria stewards charged Dee with allowing Lady Of Flanders to shift in near the 1000m, dictating Josephine Sea on to Necessary, placing that mare and her rider Luke Currie in an awkward position.

Stewards found the carelessness to be in the mid-range before taking into account Dee's guilty plea and his riding record in suspending him.

Apart from Holy Snow, Dee has four other rides on Saturday including the Mick Price-trained Oregon's Day in the Listed Regal Roller Stakes.

Dee's return will be the Sandown meeting on August 29.
