Queensland trainer Kent Fleming faces an inquiry in NSW over an elevated cobalt level found in a horse he raced at Ballina.

Gold Coast trainer Kent Fleming will front Racing NSW stewards over an elevated cobalt level detected in a horse he brought to the state to win at Ballina.

A sample taken from Pitbull before he won on December 26 and tested by two laboratories has been found to contain levels above the 100mcg/L threshold.
