Debutant Rock 'N' Sol is one of 15 starters for trainer Tony Gollan at Doomben and is also one of several two-year-old runners for Aquis Farm.

Premier Brisbane trainer Tony Gollan will have 15 runners at Doomben but it is one of his first starters which holds most interest.

Gollan has Rock 'N' Sol making his debut in Saturday's Two-Year-Old Handicap (1200m), with the gelding an eye-catching second in a recent barrier trial at Doomben.

"He is typical of Sebrings as he is much better in trials and jump-outs than in trackwork," Gollan said.

"We have put blinkers on him to help him concentrate. I still think whatever he does on Saturday you will see a better horse after Christmas."

Rock 'N' Sol is raced by some of Australia's biggest owners including Aquis Farm, Whitby Bloodstock and Werrett Bloodstock.

Aquis will have plenty of interest in the two-year-olds in Brisbane and Sydney.

It also races the Steve O'Dea-trained Grim Reaper who will be having his second start in the Doomben race.

O'Dea has a good opinion of Grim Reaper who was second at his first start at Doomben two weeks ago.

"It was a good run. He is out to 1200 metres and we have put blinkers on him," he said.

Sugar Sizzle, a last-start Murwillumbah winner, is another to carry the Aquis colours in the Brisbane race.

The filly showed a lot of speed at her first start at the Gold Coast and was with the leaders into the straight before tiring from a wide run.

Aquis also has a share in the Gary Portelli-trained Secret Lady who will carry their second set of pink colours for an all female syndicate in the Golden Gift at Rosehill.
