The skull shaped Moe track is 1732 meters in circumference with a 300 meter final straight. The StrathAyr all-weather track has a gentle incline on the back straight and gentle decline on the home. Moe racecourse plays host to thoroughbred, hurdle and steeple races throughout the year. The Moe track is one of the largest provincial racing tracks in Victoria. Some of the more notable races attract huge crowds. These include: GPG Mobile Moe Cup, 2025m event held in October. Baw Baw Country Cup, 2063m run in February. And the Super Jumps Day, regarded as the Grand National of the Gippsland, not to be missed in July. The Moe racecourse boasts a first class Turfside Tabaret and Function Centre: It offers indoor and outdoor bistro dining, TAB, and sports bar. The Moe Racecourse multi-purpose function room is available for corporate or private hire. Corporate and general memberships are available upon application to the Moe Racing Club.
