Profile
The Wyong Race Track resembles the shape of a partially deflated beach ball. However, it is widely regarded to be one of the best and safest tracks in NSW. As a result, the Wyong course attracts some of the best horses, jockeys and trainers in Australia – and the crowds that follow them. The track is 1791 meters in circumference, with a short straight of 275 meters and one chute of 250 meters. The club hosts 20 race meets annually. The two-day Wyong Gold Cup Carnival is held in spring, with the Wyong Cup being the feature race – held over 2100m in late August/ early September. The Paul Levick Stand was built in 1991 at a cost of 6 million dollars and offers all racegoers spectacular views of the course. The club offers an array of dining and event options; some of which include: The Murray Doyle lounge, comfortably catering for 240 people (210 with a dance floor) overlooking the race track; with a choice of plate, table service, buffet style or finger food options. The Garden gallery, seating 180 (140 with dance floor), is an undercover outdoor functions area close to the betting ring.
