The Strathalbyn off-centre oval track is 1690 in circumference with an elevated finishing straight of 340 meters. Races take place clock-wise between the distances of 1200 meters and 2050 meters. Feature races are held in January, March, May, and September. Some of the more notable races are: The Perri Cutten Strathalbyn Cup – 12 Jan, Langhorne Creek Vignereons Day. Strathalbyn Racecourse Restaurant offers fully air-conditioned seating for up to 120 people. It has a fully equipped kitchen, bar facilities, and panoramic views of the course. Corporate boxes and rooms can cater for up to 90 people. Single memberships begin from $70 and increase in price with the privileges they confer. Membership and corporate enquiries are to be directed to the Strathalbyn racing Club.
