They were shot from a Go-Pro camera strapped to jockey Brenton Avdulla in two of the ten trials held this morning. The first, which shows vision shot forward of the jockey, is from heat three, in which Brenton rode Ireland, who was unplaced behind Team Hawkes’ very impressive winner Sooboog.
The second link, heat six of the trials, is from vision shot from the camera strapped to Brenton’s back, in which he rode the winner Rainbeam, who defeated Calaverite (royal blue colours) and Mali Rose.
Gai Waterhouse trained five of this morning’s trial winners while Team Hawkes trained three of the winners, including the equal fastest of the day, Sooboog, who won by 5 and ¾ lengths, and 2014 Tooheys New Golden Slipper winner Mossfun’s half-brother Mawahibb, who came from last to win heat seven.
